Who provides the service

IHARC Labs is part of the Integrated Homelessness & Addictions Response Centre. IHARC is operated by BuildX Community Response Team, a registered nonprofit. Contact us at hello@iharc.ca about hosting, billing, or these terms.

Your hosting plan

We provide shared hosting for WordPress, PHP applications, and static websites. Your selected plan sets the price and allowances for websites, databases, storage, processing power, memory, and full-speed transfer. The hosting plan comparison and your setup review show these details before you continue.

Account traffic is shared across websites and file transfers, up to 100 Mbit/s. After the full-speed allowance is used, transfers slow to up to 256 kbit/s until the next billing or trial period; hosting continues. Processing power and memory are shared, so busy periods may slow sites or interrupt individual requests. Storage and transfer allowances use GiB: one GiB is 1,073,741,824 bytes.

Trial and payment

Eligible verified customers can choose one seven-day free trial only while a trial slot is open. A payment card is required. New trial requests are not queued when all trial slots are in use; existing requests already waiting retain their place. The trial begins only when hosting capacity is available and hosting access is ready. Waiting for hosting capacity does not start billing or a trial.

The selected monthly price, in Canadian dollars plus applicable taxes, applies after the trial unless you cancel. For hosting without a trial, you review and pay the selected price at checkout once capacity is allocated. Adding a website within an existing plan uses that plan's allowances.

Stripe processes payments and provides the Billing Portal linked from your account. Use it to view invoices, replace a payment method, or manage cancellation. If a payment fails, update your payment method and resolve the outstanding payment. Service access follows the billing status shown in your account.

Cancellation

You can schedule cancellation through the Stripe Billing Portal. Your account shows the scheduled service ending date. You can reverse a scheduled cancellation before it takes effect. Cancelling does not immediately erase retained hosting data.

Contact hello@iharc.ca about an incorrect charge or a refund request. These terms do not establish an automatic refund or service-credit entitlement and do not limit rights provided by applicable law.

Backups and recovery

Plans include up to seven daily restore points. Daily backups can lose changes made since the last successful backup, approximately one day. Recovery depends on an available, usable backup; a scheduled backup is not proof that a restore will succeed.

After a service ends, its data remains recoverable for 30 days. Deleted backup copies remain recoverable in protected storage for seven additional days; this does not extend service access. Recovery options are available through your account and support.

Using the service

You are responsible for your hosted content, your right to use it, and maintaining your website applications and credentials. Do not use the service for unlawful activity, malware, phishing, or attacks on other systems. Contact support if you believe your account or website has been compromised.

Support and availability

Use support in your account or email hello@iharc.ca. Include the affected website and a description of the problem; do not email passwords or recovery keys.

These plans do not include a guaranteed uptime percentage, support response time, or recovery time. No exclusion or cap on liability is introduced by these terms. Applicable legal rights remain in place.
